Testbor Math Olympiad
1. General Information about the Olympiad
- Organizer: Testbor.uz platform.
- Subject: Mathematics.
- Participants: Students from 2nd to 11th grades.
- Stages: 2 stages.
- Language: Tasks are available in Uzbek and Russian. Participants choose their preferred language during registration.
- Dates:
- Registration: Starts from November 30.
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Round): January 3.
- Test schedules for each grade will be displayed in participants’ profiles and announced on Testbor.uz.
- Stage 2 (Final Round): Starts from January 11.
- Final Location: Turin Polytechnic University, Tashkent.
2. Registration
- Registration Period: Starts from November 30.
- How to Register:
- Through the Testbor.uz website.
- Via Telegram bot @testboruz_bot.
- Required Information:
- Full name.
- Date of birth (year, month, day).
- Preferred language for the test (Uzbek or Russian).
- Accuracy of Information: Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to disqualification.
3. Olympiad Stages and Evaluation System
Stage 1: Preliminary Round
- Format: Online.
- Date: January 3.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions: 15.
- Test Time Information:
- Test times for each grade will be displayed in participants’ profiles.
- Detailed information will also be available on Testbor.uz.
- Evaluation System:
- A maximum of 100 points can be scored for 15 questions.
- In case of a tie in points, participants will be ranked based on the time taken to complete the test.
- Selection Criteria: The top 100 participants from each grade with the highest scores advance to the final round.
Stage 2: Final Round
- Format: Offline.
- Date: Starts from January 11.
- Location: Turin Polytechnic University, Tashkent.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Evaluation System:
- A maximum of 100 points can be scored for 15 questions.
- In case of a tie in points, participants will be ranked based on the time taken to complete the test.
- Verification:
- Participants must provide an identity document (passport, ID card, or birth certificate).
- A document from the school confirming the participant's enrollment is required.
4. Prize Pool
Prizes for Final Winners (for each grade):
- 1st Place: 1,000,000 UZS.
- 2nd Place: 700,000 UZS.
- 3rd Place: 500,000 UZS.
Bonuses for Finalists:
- Certificate signed by the rector of Turin Polytechnic University.
- A 20% discount coupon for paid lessons on Testbor.uz.
- 5000 Tcoin, virtual currency on Testbor.uz, which can be used in the Testbor store to purchase goods.
5. Appeals Process
- Submission Deadline: Appeals can be submitted within 1 hour after the results are published.
- Review Process: Results will be re-evaluated, and a decision will be made on the same day.
6. Disqualification
Participants may be disqualified in the following cases:
- Using multiple devices to log into the same account.
- External help or tampering with test results.
- Incorrect or incomplete documentation.
- Providing false personal information.
- Failure to adhere to the test schedule.
Vacant spots left by disqualified participants will be filled by the next-ranked participants.
